DINAMICS Project RECI/EMS-SIS/0147/2012
Dynamics of INterfacial Transport PhenomenA in MIcro Scale Energy Conversion Systems
The IN+μTP is supported by a multidisciplinary international team of increasing expertise in a variety of subjects, mostly related to bioengineering, chemical engineering and micro-fabrication.
The project team included a four-member management committee comprised by the Principal Investigator and Post Doc researchers. This management team brings together an overall expertise spanning through the scientific core areas of the project: microchannel flow with and without heat transfer and phase change, wettability including engineered surfaces for enhanced transport phenomena, spray cooling.
Doctoral researchers were designated to coordinate long term research, while graduate students were hired for the project team through research fellowships to accomplish short term task at the same time that they could gain independent laboratory skills in the experimental technique, and knowledge of the principles behind the subjects covered.
